He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Sandra James Mehaffy; his children, Sean Patrick Mehaffy and Megan Ellen Mehaffy Pearce; his grandson Patrick William Mehaffy; and his sisters, Pamela Ostrom, Anita Mehaffy and Cheryl Mack.
