In the vast expanse of eternity, Dorsey shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dorsey farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorsey Turner and Kula Bell Heyward; and his guardian Ada. He is survived by: his brother Willie James Eaddy of Hemingway, SC; and his cousins, Natasha Davis (Rodney) of Johnsonville, SC, Trevor McCray of Lake City, SC and Jerusalem A. M. E. Church. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; a cousin.
Viewing was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henryhand Funeral Home (1951 Thurgood Marshall Hwy, Kingstree, SC 29556). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jerusalem A. M. E. Church (2557 Jerusalem Dr, Hemingway, SC 29554).
