She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Cooper and Lessie Goins Cooper; her brother Terry Kirton; and her pets, Luke, Max, Lady Benton, Snickers and Oreo.
She is survived by: her siblings, Tony Cooper (Jennifer), Willie Cooper (Alicia) and Tanya McCall (Billy); and her friend Nancy Siau. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the building fund at either Valley Grande Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Selma, or the Shiloh Baptist Church in Sardis.
