David Morris Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Morris of Georgetown, South Carolina, who passed away on March 31, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid David farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For David is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Morris and Margie Morris; and his son David Fulton Morris II (Dave). He is survived by: his daughter Ashli Michelle Urano (Joel) of Dallas; his grandson Justin Dave Morris of Steamboat Springs; and his friends, Dr. Jim Edwards and Bubba Grimes.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (219 Cleland St, Georgetown, SC 29440). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Saint Frances Animal Shelter, honoring David's lifelong love of animals.
