It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Roosevelt Beasley of Georgetown, South Carolina, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Beasley; his parents, Thomas Beasley, Sr. and Bertha Cooper Beasley of Georgetown; and his stepbrother Lester Johnson. He is survived by: his siblings, Larry, Thomas Beasley and Lena Mae Hallback; his great grandchild Little Master Khamari Beasley; his children, Sharon Shine (Kelly) of Moncks Corner, SC, Kevin Beasley (Yulanda) of Georgetown, SC and Keith Beasley of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Shekia Bryant (Willie), Kelly Shine, Jr. (Courtney), Keenan Shine, Demeci Beasley, Daquinn Thomas and Kevin Beasley, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Cayden Shine, Kaison Shine, Miguel Bryant, Kiley Faye Beasley and Kason Young Beasley; his sister Phyllis Truman; his stepsister Janie Gasque of Georgetown, SC; his caregivers, Karen Jackson, Valerie Davis, Julia Mae Wilson and Solomon Wilson; and also Dan. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
