With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Colin R. Young of Georgetown, South Carolina, who passed away on October 29, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pinson Young and Virginia Christine Deskins Young. He is survived by: his spouse Loril Higgins Young; his brother Ronald Young; his sons, Kenley (Shelley), Logan (Christin) and Kaith Young (Erin); his grandchildren, Declan, Delaney and Leah Young; his niece Robyn Morrison (Brian); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kayne and Scarlett; his cousin Douglas Young (Betty); his sister-in-law Karen Price; his nieces and nephews, Leslie (Lorne) and John Price (Becky); and also Bailey. He is also survived by several other cousins, nieces, nephews.
Memorials may be given to Helping Hands of Georgetown (1813 Highmarket St.), South Carolina Junior Golf Association (7451 Irmo Drive, Columbia, SC 29212), Duncan Methodist Church's Music Ministry (901 Highmarket St.), or the charity of one's choice.
