He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Thompson and Leona Eaddy Thompson; and his brothers, Vonnie James Thompson and Jimmy Levow Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Doris Keefe Thompson of Georgetown; his children, Charlie Faye "Bobo" Thompson, Jr. (Cindy) of Georgetown and Teressa Thompson Harrington (Kim) of Pawleys Island; his grandsons, Zachary Harrington of Georgetown and Carter Thompson of Georgetown; his great grandchild Prestyn Brown of Georgetown; and his brother Larry Joe Thompson of Bonneau. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
