He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Mole Marsh and Charlotte Haselden Marsh; and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Mayfield and Jerry Plautz. He is survived by: his siblings, Billie Ann Mayfield, Dorothy McIntyre (Ron Johnson), Patsy Bracy (James), Don Marsh and Charlotte "Lee" Plautz; his close friend Catherine Tyler; and his daughter Bessie Cumbie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
