She was predeceased by: her father Jacob Brooks Mayer; her husband John A. High, Sr.; her granddaughter Melody K. Morris; and her brother Charles Thompson "Tommy" Mayer. She is survived by: her children, Leslie High Morris (Michael) of Conway and John A. "Jay" High, II of Georgetown; and her grandchildren, Dr. Elizabeth Brooks High of Charleston, John A. "Alex" High, III of Georgetown and Cody Charles Kaufman of Conway. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
