Matthews, III; her mother Melinda High Long; her grandmother Linda Evans (Dan) of Pawleys Island; her sons, Brenton McClary of Florence, Evan Matthews of Florence and Cole Matthews of Florence; her stepson Merle Matthews of Georgetown; her nieces and nephews, Robert Glenn Long of Andrews, Kayden Glass of Andrews, JC Long Blakely of Andrews, Alex Freeman of Florence, Matthew Freeman of Florence, Andrew Freeman of Florence, Ethan Freeman of Florence, Katie Marie Ann Long of Andrews and Kailey Glass of Andrews; her brother Jesse Long of Andrews; her uncle Jeff High of Georgetown; her aunts, Tammy Evans of Pawleys Island, Jackie Long of Andrews, Patty Long of Andrews and Lori Ann Long of Andrews; and her sister-in-law Meredith Matthews Freeman (Les) of Florence.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Graves Southern Baptist Church (44 Vine Ct, Georgetown, SC 29440).
