It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Richie Salley of Georgetown, South Carolina, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on May 17, 2022, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Rosann Gray Bateman; her stepfather John Bateman; and her father-in-law Dr. Julian Salley. She is survived by: her husband J. Alexander Salley, Jr.; her father James Dare Richie; her sons, Joshua Morris Parker (Taylor Jessica Callinan) and Julian Alexander Salley III; her sister Jennifer Richie of Georgetown; her stepsister Tiffany Bateman Osborne of Telluride, Colorado; her mother-in-law Kathryn Wallace Salley of Columbia; her stepmother Marissa Richie of Aylett, Virginia; and her brothers-in-law, Charles Wallace Salley (Susan) of Columbia and Mark Hedrick Salley (Jane) of Columbia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family; and numerous wonderful friends.
Anne requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Smith Medical Clinic at 99 Baskerville Drive Pawleys Island SC 29585.
