With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Lou Hedgepath McCraw (Gaston, South Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on January 2, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Purvey Hedgepath and Nellie Lay Hedgepath; her husband Marvin Reid McCraw; and her sisters, Evelyn Hedgepath and Frances Thornburg.
She is survived by: her son Anthony Reid McCraw (Elizabeth); her granddaughter Meredith Leigh McCraw; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Thornburg of Dallas and Margie Pasour of Dallas, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid concerns, a private service will be held at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Ledford officiating.
