In the vast expanse of eternity, Johnny Ray shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Johnny Ray farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Mae and Bunny Jeffords; and his grandson Channing Rish. He is survived by: his wife Betty; and his children, Monica Earwood (Wes), Johnny Kinsey, Jr. (Tonua) and Heather Rish (Walter). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, three loving sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church (310 Gator Rd, Gaston, SC 29053). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
