He was predeceased by: his parents, John Watt Gray, Jr. and Elinor Ruth Wright Gray; and his brother James William Gray. He is survived by: his wife Christine Rosdahl Gray; his sons, John W. Gray, IV (Renee Gray), Jeremy Gray and Jared Gray of Ft. Myers, FL; his grandchildren, Hayden, Dalton, Josie and Miles; and his siblings, Thomas (Betty Gray), Nick (Sandy Gray), Blenda Braswell of Cary, NC and Judy (Ray Franks).
Due to the current pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Johnny may be sent to Pisgah ARP Church, 3600 Linwood Road, Gastonia, NC 28052.
