She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen Gerst and George Jones; her children, Shaquana Ruffin and Brandon Ruffin; and her brothers, George Jones, Jr. and Edward Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Lee Ruffin, Keesha Ruffin and Taisha Ruffin; her grandchildren, Brandon Hollaway, Terrell Ruffin, Tye, Jeremiah Harley, Kayelanie Hayes, Danisha Maniza, Deasia Maniza, Jayden Harley and Mckenzie Hammonds; her great grandchildren, Kambrie Hollaway, Harley and Zuhri Ruffin; and her siblings, Harriett Clutter and John Jones.
