It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cruz Maria Frutchey of Gaston, South Carolina, who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Maria L. Gonzalez; her brothers, Hector Roman and Americo Rodriguez; and her stepfather Gamaliel Roman Garcia. She is survived by: her son John R. Frutchey of Goose Creek, SC; her sisters, Diana Roman, Sandra Roman of Gaston, SC, Margaret Gomez of Passaic, NJ and Agustina Ribbett of Bloomfield, NJ; and her grandson Jonathan of Summerville, SC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
