He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Mason and Princy Mason; his wife Irma Ruth Mason; and his son Gregory Dorsie Mason. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Smiley of Gastonia and Tracy Hovis (Scott) of Clover; his grandchildren, James Smiley, Tyler Smiley (Crystal), Scottie Hovis (Ciera) and Chayla Goodson (Jacob); and his great grandchildren, Braydon, Anslee, Carra, Caila and Paydyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
