She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl B. Davis and Ruby Vaughan Davis; her husband Thomas B. Green; and her sister Christine D. Sightler. She is survived by: her sons, James A. Wharton III, Michael T. Wharton and Joseph L. Wharton (Sarah); her grandchildren, Jamie, Michaela (Shawn), Gavin, Riley and Logan; and her siblings, Douglas R Davis (Linda) of Winston-Salem, NC, Jane D Pound of Easley, SC and JoAnn Byars of West Columbia, SC. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
