He was predeceased by: his parents, James Luther Callahan, Sr. and Gladys Berry Callahan; and his brother James Callahan, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Merilyn Pound Callahan; his children, Patrick Callahan (Dawn) of Greenwood, Todd Callahan of Gaston, Jodi Skipper (Jenks) of Lexington, Noel Wilson (Robert) of Greenville and Adam Callahan of Gaston; and his sisters, Gloria Livingston of Pelion, Judy McFaddin (Charlie) of Alcolu, Julie Martin (Timmy) of Sumter and Janice Hawkins of Sumter. He is also survived by six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
