With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred Franklin Deese (Gaston, South Carolina), born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on December 27, 2020 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Bahamas and Rachel Lavonne Wingate Deese. He is survived by: his wife Jean Smith Deese; his sons, Nathan Deese (Vickie) of Apex, Benjamin Deese of Charlotte, Ryan Deese of Charlotte and Joseph Deese of Los Angeles, CA; his grandchildren, Bridget and Connor Deese; and his siblings, David Deese (Fran), Gene Deese, Reid Deese, Andrea Howard, Rachel Elliott (Dave), Lou Grigg (Joey) and Tara Russell (Grant). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
