He is survived by: his wife Reverend Linda Stanford of Petersburg, VA; his children, Rosalind David of Orlando, FL, Duane Lewis (Shakina) of Yuba City, CA, Charles E. Stanford, Jr. (Venus) of South Chesterfield, VA and Richard D. Stanford of Petersburg, VA; his stepson Randolph White of South Carolina; his sisters, Elizabeth McCall of Philadelphia, PA and Inez Stanford; his stepsiblings, Patricia Joseph and Tan House of California; and his siblings-in-law, Morgan Barker (Sherrie) of Jacksonville, FL, Anthony Brown of Jacksonville, FL, James Barker of Garnett, SC, Gwendolyn Patterson of Estill, SC and Georgeanna Gillson of Beaufort, SC. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
