She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Mae Lewis and Coleman. She is survived by: her husband Winford Young; her sons, Lewis Young (Karen) of Louisville and Jim Young of Galivants Ferry; and her grandchildren, Angela Carter (Derick), Joshua Young (Nancy), Sabrina Elliott (Andrew), Samuel Best (Taylor) and James A. Young. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rehobeth Baptist Church (2800 Dog Bluff Rd, Galivants Ferry, SC 29544). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
