He is survived by: his children, Terry Wayne Jr. and Johnathan James Mitchell; his wife Dianne Johnson Barnhill of Conway, SC; his children, Terra Ann Barnhill (Adrianne) and Will Pryor-Barnhill of Charlotte, NC; his child-in-law Terry Wayne Barnhill, Jr. (Christine); his grandchildren, Emily, Preston, Sierra, Allie and Avery of Woodstock, IL.; his child Alston; the mother of his children Jillian Strickland of Galivants Ferry, SC; and his granddaughter Isabella Embry of Gaithersburg, MD.
Terry shared a special kinship with fellow recipients of organ donations.
