He is survived by: his parents, Phillip Elvis Simmons and Linda Turner Simmons; his wife Niki Renee Medeiros Simmons; his daughter Jaymie Lynn Simmons; his sister Beverly C. Simmons; and his nieces and nephews, Erika Simmons, Elishia Simmons, Khalaya Grant, Omar Sabr, Amir Samad and Jerren Bell.
