She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Jollie and Annie Bell Jollie; her husband Carland F. James; and her brother Hartford Jollie, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Kendall C. James of Galivants Ferry; her grandchildren, Cody James (Amber) of Mullins and Jessica James of Galivants Ferry; her great grandchildren, Landyn James and Jesse James; her sister Sandra Smart of Conway; and her nieces and nephews, Pam Sessions of Marion, Wendy Sessions of Conway, Becky Martin (Monty) of Aynor, Heather Edwards of Conway, Hartford Jollie, Jr. of Conway and James Terry Smart, Jr. of Conway.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery (2453 Brunson Spring Rd, Galivants Ferry, SC 29544). A reception was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM.
