She was predeceased by: her husband James Albert Coggins; her parents, John Stout Winburn and Sally O'Neal Winburn; her son James Albert Coggins Jr.; her granddaughter Ashley Coggins; and her siblings, Nellie Hardwick, Mary Richardson, Marguarite Floyd, J. L. Winburn, Carl Francis Winburn and Horace Winburn.
She is survived by: her children, John Michael Coggins of Gaffney, Joe Henry Coggins (Janet) of Gaffney, Debbie Sanders (David) of Gaffney and Wendy Coggins of Gaffney; and her grandchildren, Susan Cunningham, James Albert "Allen" Coggins III, Malissa Coggins (Mark Earls), Michelle Coggins, Kelly Brown (Kenny), Jeremy Coggins (Cherish) and Nicholas James Coggins. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
