He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Smith and Ethel McCullar Smith. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Byars; his daughters, Dianne Allen (John) and Penny Smith Mullinax; his siblings, Edna Smith Runyans, Otis, Charlie, Marion Jr. and Howard; his children, Sue Barnhill (Greg) of Gaffney, Andy (Veronica) of Georgia and Chris (Terry) of North Carolina; and his brother Eugene Smith (Reba) of Gaffney. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
