She was predeceased by: her husband David Vester Blanton; her parents, Roy Adam Hill and Frankie Finley Hill; and her siblings, Max Lynn Hill, Dr. John Hill, Robert E. Hill and Norma Linginfelter.
She is survived by: her daughter Valarie Sue Blanton Huskey of Boiling Springs; her stepson Gregory Van Blanton of Shelby; her siblings, Charles D. Hill of Zanesville, IN, Katie Turner of Maryville, TN and Joyce Erwin of Boiling Springs; her grandchild Chandler Seth Huskey; her stepgrandsons, Jeffery Todd Blanton and John David Blanton; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Levi Van Blanton, Benjamin Todd Blanton, Eden Rose Blanton and Gregory Kye Blanton.
