With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Vassey (Gaffney, South Carolina), who passed away on October 17, 2019 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfred Vassey and Joanne Erwin Vassey; and his brother Steven Vassey. He is survived by: his wife Martha Darwin Vassey; his sons, Michael L. Vassey (Kristi) of Gaffney and Jeff Vassey (Mollie) of Gaffney; his sisters, Mary Ann Estes of Cross Hill and Angela Baldwin of Hickory Tavern; and his grandchildren, Jacob Vassey, Madison Vassey, Nicholas Vassey, John Vassey and Emma Vassey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Draytonville Baptist Church, 179 Draytonville Church Road, Gaffney, SC 29340.
