With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William McSwain of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on December 17, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Luther McSwain; his parents, R. L. McSwain and Elizabeth McSwain; and his niece Lisa McSwain. He is survived by: his wife Julia McSwain of Gaffney; his daughter Paula Hopper (Brent) of Gaffney; his brother Robert McSwain (Willie) of Gaffney; his sisters-in-law, Gloria McSwain of Gaffney, Toni Ellis Gardner of Goldsboro and Mona Ellis of Texas; and his mother-in-law Hazel Ellis of Goldsboro.
