He is survived by: his children, Crystal Griffin Bean (Darrell) and John Winford Osment; his grandchildren, Hayden Griffin, Sieth Griffin (Jasmine), Kaitlyn Griffin (Zack), Noah Bridges, Madison Rakestraw, Peyton Osment, Paisley Osment and Isabella Bean; his great grandchild Caroline Patterson; his brothers, Gary Osment and David Osment (Dottie); and his caregiver Katie Henderson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney (211 E Frederick St, Gaffney, SC 29340). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
