She was predeceased by: her spouse Reverend Jerry Bruce Kanipe, Sr.; her parents, Jesse James Stepp and Pauline Hunsinger Stepp; her children, Rhonda Guyton and Jamie White; and her siblings, Wayne Stepp, Sally Huskey and Patricia Price.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott White (Paula) of Gaffney and Terry White (Jamie) of Gaffney; her stepchildren, Jerry Bruce Kanipe, Jr. (Heather) of Boiling Springs, SC, John David Kanipe (Tina) of Spartanburg, Phyllis Spivey (Butch McKeehan) of Spartanburg and Angelia Byars (Gregg) of Cowpens; her sisters, Barbara McCraw of Georgetown, Virginia Harris of Gaffney and Joyce Garrison of Gaffney; her grandchildren, Crystal Maxwell (Derek), Michael Guyton, Emily Rockwell (Jeff), Luke White (Heather), Mollee Bagwell (Durand), Aaron White (Carrigan), Bradley White (Brandi) and Haley Humphries; and her great grandchild Malachi. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
