He is survived by: his wife Ila Jane Porter Blanton; his children, Brian Scott Blanton of Gaffney, Kimberly Renea McSwain of Gaffney, Paula Blanton Collins of Washington and Derek Pruitt (Erica) of Gaffney; his siblings, Gary Blanton of Gaffney, Donald Blanton of Gaffney, Joyce Wood of Gaffney, Margaret Porter (Jimmy) of Gaffney and Betty Cash (Barry) of Cowpens; and his grandchildren, Magen Blanton, Logan McSwain, David McSwain, Emma Collins and Mason Collins. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
