He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Waters and Novella Blackwell Waters; and his siblings, Paul Waters, David Waters, Brenda Rutledge, Blanch Porter, Vivian Greene, Frances Allison and Linda Orr.
He is survived by: his daughter Novella Springer (Greg) of Spartanburg; his stepson Joseph Johnson (Karen) of Arizona; his brother Wilbur Waters of Gaffney; his sister-in-law Joanie Waters; his grandchildren, Jessica Boldroft (Steven), Jillian Veloz, Ashley Belcher (Dan) and Dominick Trapani; and his great grandchildren, Brandon, Skylar and Grayson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blakely Funeral Home (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341).
