He was predeceased by: his parents, C. C. Moorhead and Margaret Moorhead; his sister Carol Moorhead Wilkins; and his children, Andrew Craig Moorhead and Callie Elizabeth Moorhead.
He is survived by: his son Richard Martin Moorhead of Blacksburg, SC; his wife Joyce Martin Moorhead; his son Patrick Lee Moorhead (Angela) of Blacksburg, SC; his brother Robert; his grandchildren, Claire, Elijah, Connor, Andrew, Gabriel, Grant, Caroline, Bailee and Aubrey; and his great grandchild Blakely.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Blakely Funeral Home (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341).
