With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Kirkpatrick of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on November 9, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Robbins Kirkpatrick; and his parents, Curtis Ellis and Vergie McGee Ellis. He is survived by: his sons, Calvin Benton and Chris Brown of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren, Courtland Brown, Zachery Benton, Tricia Benton and Dean Benton; his siblings, Daphne Ellis Whetstine of Kings Mountain, NC and Jack Ellis of Greenville; and his half-brother Joey Kirkpatrick of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 195 Keeney Dr, Gaffney, SC 29341.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to offset expenses.
