He was predeceased by: his former wife Katherine Hannah Ross Harrill; his daughter Allison Lee Harrill Corbett of Columbia; his sister Barbara Jean Harrill Hawkins of Lattimore; and his significant other Shirley Ann Wright Turner of Gaffney. He is survived by: his son Dr. Rich Harrill; his son-in-law James J. Corbett; his grandchildren, James "Sam" and Katherine "Kate" Corbett; and his close friend Colonel Roy N. Mathis.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Blakely Funeral Home (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341).
