He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Boone, Sr. and Ruth Frost Boone; his brother Roger A. Boone; and also Donna Boone. He is survived by: his spouse Leslie Harris Boone; his children, Matthew Jones of Spartanburg and Pamela J. Peeler of Chesnee; his siblings, Robert Wendel Boone (Linda) of Florida, Raymond D. Boone (Jody) of Florida and Carole Gentzel of Florida; and his grandchildren, Delaney Price (Austin), Kyndal Peeler (Marli Peeler) and Thomas "Monty" Cooper (Brian Oldham).
