He was predeceased by: his parents, Furman McKinney and Ada Turner McKinney; his siblings, Max McKinney, Tom McKinney, Faye Cudd and Frances Edwards; and his son-in-law Richard Southgate.
He is survived by: his spouse Utha Mitchem McKinney; his daughter Donna S. Woods (Keith) of Gaffney; his granddaughters, Nicole Lowe (Tyler) of Lake Wylie, SC and Natalie Southgate of Decatur, GA; and his great grandchild Graeme Southgate Lowe.
