He is survived by: his spouse Jean Peeler Bowen; his son Jeffrey Lee Bowen (Jessica); his granddaughters, Yarah and Amy; his siblings, Paul Bowen (Barbara), Kenneth Bowen (Delores) and Patricia Eaker (Harold); and his sister-in-law Linda Bowen of Shelby, NC..
