He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Rutherford Adkins, Sr. and Nancy Farley Adkins; his brothers, Sam Adkins (Deane), Tom Adkins, Sidney Adkins, Robert Adkins and Danny Adkins; his brother-in-law Windel Wooten; and his son-in-law Michael Dye.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Westbrooks Adkins; his daughters, Jessica Dougherty (Shamus) of Ormond Beach, FL, Jennifer Dye of Deland, FL and Shana Harvey (Justin) of Gaffney; his siblings, Allen Adkins, Doug Adkins, Gini Wooten of North Carolina and Faye Kullberg (Terry) of Virginia; his sister-in-law Erika Adkins of California; and his grandchildren, Ava, Annabelle, Griffin, Emily, Landi (Brandon) and Lyndzi.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blakely Funeral Home (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341).
