She was predeceased by: her spouse Francis E. "Bud" Ellis; her parents, Grady C. Blanton and Blanche Pearson Blanton; and her siblings, Velma, Joyce, Becky, Janice, Janet, Roy Dean and Freddie.
She is survived by: her brothers, Gene Blanton of Shelby, NC, Wayne Blanton (Rita) of Morganton, NC and Ronnie Blanton (Phyllis) of Mooresboro, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
