He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Wood Cobb; his parents, Fred Cobb and Lizzie Taylor Cobb; and his siblings, Truman Cobb (Carole), Dewey Cobb and Shirley Leonard (Wirron).
He is survived by: his children, Michael Allen Cobb, Jr. (Kristen) of Gaffney and Beth Martin (Jimmy) of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Logan Cobb, Brady Cobb and Rylan Cobb; his sister-in-law Betty Brown of Georgia; and his caregivers, Jean Zucker and Caroline Briggs. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
