With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Spencer of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on June 30, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Maxine shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Maxine farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver D. Lavender and Lillie Foust Lavender Teague; her stepparent Charlie H. Teague; and her brother Oliver Keith Lavender. She is survived by: her husband Chester F. Spencer; her daughter Linda S. Wright (Doug); her granddaughter Lindsay K. Wright of Gaffney; and her stepbrother Ron Teague (Janet) of Covington, GA.
