She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Asbury Goforth; her parents, Earley Q. Spencer and Sara Gardner Spencer; and her siblings, Karl Spencer and Doris Jennings.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Gunter of Gaffney; her grandchildren, Sonja Akers (Chaplain Dean) and Christopher Coyle; her great grandchildren, Kathryn Akers and Clara Akers; and also Kenton Coyle.
