We bid farewell to Mary Goforth of Gaffney, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 26, 2024 at the age of 97. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her husband Paul Asbury Goforth; her parents, Earley Q. Spencer and Sara Gardner Spencer; and her siblings, Karl Spencer and Doris Jennings.

She is survived by : her daughter Kathy Gunter of Gaffney; her grandchildren, Sonja Akers (Chaplain Dean) and Christopher Coyle; her great grandchildren, Kathryn Akers and Clara Akers; and also Kenton Coyle.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Frederick Memorial Gardens (986 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
