She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Thomas Pettit; her parents, Guy Edward Kirby, Sr. and Julia Humphries Kirby; her former husband Joe Bob Blanton; and her sister Gail Kirby Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Blanton (Lisa) of Gaffney, Denise Blanton Parker of Barnwell, SC, Lynne Pettit Heckler of Travelers Rest, SC and Randall Pettit (Mary Ann) of Belleville, Illinois; her brother Guy E. Kirby, Jr. (Linda) of Prosperity; her grandchildren, Avery MacDowell, Connor Parker, Joe Thomas Blanton (Katie), Sgt. Hiley Blanton (Stormy), Bridgette Peak (Kent), Steven Pettit and Stacy Pettit; and her great grandchildren, Kiley, Bryson, Joanna Blanton, Nelle Parker, Jordan Rogers, Brayden Blanton, Sophia, Olivia and Priscella Kent.
