It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hunsuck Sr. of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sewell E. Hunsuck and Emma Purnell Lineberger Hunsuck; and his brothers, Eddie Sewell Hunsuck, Jr., Bill Hunsuck, Gene Hunsuck and Benjamin "Bennie" Hunsuck.
He is survived by: his spouse Ola Faye Banks Hunsuck; his children, John D. Hunsick, Jr. (Barbara) of Atwater, Donald Edward Hunsuck (Tammy) of Satellite Beach, Pete Hunsuck (Shannon) of Little Rock, Arkansas and Susan H. Allen of Belmont; and his grandchildren, Michael, Caitlyn, Kristen (Jesse), Nathan (MaCenna), Zach, Parker (Marie), Grayson, Caleb, Cameron, Caroline, Katy, Will, Leighton and Annaleise. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church of one's choice or Crisis Pregnancy Centers of one's choice.
