It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Holcomb of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on May 16, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Holcomb and Mary Martin Holcomb; his brothers, Floyd Holcomb and Amos Holcomb; his grandson Thomas Benson "Scooter" Gay; and his great grandchild Blaire Christine McDaniel.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Robinson Holcomb; his daughters, Debra Holcomb Benton of Blacksburg, Donna Holcomb Gay of Gaffney, Crystal Holcomb Owens (David) of Gaffney and Pamela Holcomb Cantrell of Gaffney; his siblings, Steve Holcomb (Carolyn) of Gaffney, Boyd Holcomb (Charlotte) of Gaffney, Edward Holcomb of Gaffney and Ethel Fowler of Gaffney; and his grandchildren, Miranda Jackson (Jason), Brandon Gay (Tabby), Brandy Benton, Dylan Gay, Dustin Gay (Tiffany), Joshua Gay (Aladdin), Aaron Benton, Ally Pongrujipitiporn (Time), Alyssa Cantrell (Aaron), Hunter Owens (Kaylee), Caleb Cantrell (Anna) and Nicolas Benton. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
