He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Fowler and Betty Fowler Owens; his stepfather Paul Owens; his sister Sandra Teague; and his grandson Cody Bailey.
He is survived by: his daughter Penny Bailey of Gaffney; his siblings, Darrele Fowler of Gaffney, Diane Bradley of Gaffney and Rhonda Phillips of Blacksburg; his grandson Tyler Bailey (Crystal); and his great grandchildren, Branson Bailey, Jordon Bailey, Mason Bailey and Tobias Pittman.
