He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Jones Ruppe; his parents, Winford K. Ruppe and Jeanette Mullinax Ruppe; and his brother-in-law Edward Hughes. He is survived by: his children, James Kurtis Ruppe of Gaffney and Allison Denise Ruppe (Jason Martin) of Gaffney; his sisters, Donna Spencer (Edward) of Gaffney, Debbie Blanton (Ronnie) of Gaffney and Lana Hughes of Roebuck; and his grandchildren, Austin Goode and Thomas Goode (Sara).
